Maxi Cosi Pria 85 Max Convertible Car Seat - Graphic Flower $197.99. Best deal I've found. Rather odd design, but can you really go wrong with OD green, white little flower thingies, and orange and white stenciling? I like it. Extra 10% off ends on the 18th so get it while ya can.

We bought the seat. Fought with it as it was a pain to use in rear facing set up. Ended up buying chicco nextfit. That one is great.

Now maxi cosi in storage till the kiddo is forward facing. Not sold it will be any better, yet cant return.

I would suggest other car seat. Not worth it.

Mine is rear facing, and I have no issues. I really like it. That said, this price is a good price for this product whether you prefer it or not.

Why is it such pain? I thought it was one of the easier installs that I had to do.

I think it is super comfy and plush. Good price if the design is your style.

One of the best deals on Pria 85 MAX and no tax for many. Good post OP.

I have both Pria 85 MAX and Chicco Nextfit Zip, in 2 different cars. Both are good.
The benefits of Pria 85 Max are
- lower profile, easier for small cars
- almost 40% lighter than Nextfit (as it does not have steel frame), good for bringing it on travel
- Higher weight rating and longer expiration
These should be more than enough to justify Pria 85 MAX's higher price tag.

This website has a lot good comparisons on carseats: Chicco Nextfit vs. Maxi Cosi Pria 85 Max [firsttimeparentguide.com]

it did not work for us rear facing, no matter what what do it is not secure enough, after a little while, it loosens and start to swing left and right.

Were you securing with latch or belt?

Oh that's weird. Sorry about that. We used latch, then pressed down on the seat while pulling the belt to tighten it up and its glued hard to the seat with little wiggleroom.
