You don't really need to pair it with a Klipsch sub as subs don't really have to be matched like speakers do and there are typically better subs than Klipsch for around the same price. That said, I probably would pair them with a Klipsch sub just because I like the way copper woofers match . . .

Anyway, with Klipsch subs you've got two different Reference series lineups to consider. The entry level subs are the R-8SW, R-10SW, and R12SW (8", 10", 12" respectively). These subs are plenty loud but not terribly refined. They would be a good choice for pairing with Klipsch entry level Reference line (the models that start with "R" like this one). I'd skip the 8" for sure though as it doesn't really offer much improvement over what these speakers already do by themselves. The R-12SW is probably the one you want, but the R10SW would do if price/space is a issue on the 12" sub. They also come in wireless models: R-12SWi and R-10SWi.

The next step up is the R-110SW, R-112SW, and R-115SW (10", 12", 15"). These are good Klipsch subs and the ones that can actually be compared other sub brands like BIC, HSU, SVS. But at their prices you still probably get more bang for your buck elsewhere in most cases. They would be a good choice for pairing with the Klipsch Reference Premiere line (the models that start with "RP"). Getting one of these would probably be overkill with the R-26PF, but if you really care about good clean bass you could do it.

Lastly, there are still some older Klipsch subs floating around out there. The Klipsch Synergy Sub-12 (12") is the most common one I see. It sits somewhere between the R-12SW and R112SW. It isn't going to match the copper woofers of the Reference line but being an older model is typically priced below the R-12SW while still being a better sub.

Hopefully that this helps. But if it was a little too much information just look for the R-12SW or R-12SWi (wireless model).

Man, can these go any lower? I feel like much more and they will be losing money on the shipping.

Despite that I'm not a big fan of Bluetooth speakers "old school" and already have a receiver, still such a great deal!

Can Bluetooth speakers really be good? I understand that they work ok for low-end application, but how has the experience been for higher-end?

The short answer is yes they "can".

The long answer is mostly that it depends on the BT version and the codec. Since these have aptX as long as whatever you're transmitting from also has aptX you'll have great sound.

That aside, I've also heard BT speakers that sound great (Edifiers specifically) that don't have aptX. The sound of a BT speaker is more heavily influenced by the quality of speaker itself than the BT technology. A crappy $20 speaker won't sound good, whether it's BT or wired.

Easy, you just need a smaller desk so you have a lot of rooms on both sides. Smilie

400 no tax and free ship is REALLY tempting...I don't even need them and find Klipsch to be too bright for me but the price is great

Can these be used as FL and FR of 5.1 or 7.1 home theater setup by connecting it to a A/V receiver?
