I love coffee, and this is one of my favorites!

A rich dark roast but with low acidity. Usually $18+ but as low as $12.82 with subscribe and save. It's the BIG 2 pound bag, usually $18+.

My first post, any pointers are appreciated !

Thank you for posting a whole bean coffee deal! SD needs more of these. Most "coffee" posts are kcups ... you know what I'm saying. Wink

For reference (and price calibration purposes) here's a recent, truly SLICK coffee deal.

Sharing this because the SD community is very discerning of deals for just about every category ... except for coffee, IMO; I see a lot of upvotes for mediocre coffee deals.

Thanks again for the post! Smilie

I only drink homegrown, local, organic, pasture-free, vegan, cage-free, non-gender specific coffee.

I trained my unicorn to pick and eat only the finest and the ripest berries. After the berries have been processed with special digestive enzyme, I let leprechauns to pick them up one by one. They go crazy since it's good as gold. Then, I flash roast them with sunshine and rainbows. It's a raw roast. Anything beyond 0.01 second of roasting is a dumpster fire.

Btw if your coffee is not hand- picked and roasted, then it's a garbage.
Basically, you're drinking garbage/sewage water.

Definitely more bitter than sweet, as with most french roast or dark roast beans. Thanks for the heads up on the expired bags, wasn't aware of that.

The coffee is good, but the price isn't great. Never had an issue with expiration dates since coffee doesn't last long in our home. I bought it in November for $8.83. However, with it showing up on SlickDeals so often it may be a while before the price drops that low again.

Unless you drink a lot you are better off getting smaller bags and buying more often for a fresher cup of coffee.

Though that "truly slick" deal was for shyte in a bag... Bad enough that I cancelled an order for a second bag even at that low price.

Still not a great deal here, but pretty good coffee. I have fresh bins of Cameron's nearby at about this price so I don't have to worry about old stock.

It's nearly impossible to get a fresh bag of coffee on Amazon. There are just to many steps that need to take place before it gets to your door. If you want fresh coffee, buy it directly from the roaster who roasts and ships coffee multiple times per week. Otherwise you are getting months old coffee...and when you really want to consume it before then, that's just too long.
