Normally $75, this is the lowest price in a year for a Black+Decker 20v tool that rarely goes on sale.

Note this is the bare tool only - no battery.

Love this thing - bought mine a few years back - put to tough use and still going strong. It's very capable and has decent stable reach. I have 2 batteries since this shares the same system as the b&d hedge trimmer I have. I'd recommend having two batteries so you're not interrupting your work to wait for the battery to charge

Great tool, I love mine. This plus the alligator saw make a great addition to any homeowners with trees on their property.

Not an exact answer to your question, but I bought two of these B+D 20V on clearance at my local Sears ($50 each with battery!) last year. My idea was that I could use the middle section of the spare to extend the middle part of the one I intended to use.

Unfortunately the way the grooves work to join the sections, it isn't possible, at least without some modification.

I still got a deal having a spare chain, bar, battery, charger and all of the sections!.

This is a good price but not the best. Got same model with 2A battery and charger at $65 from target.com last May. Not bad but stopped working yesterday. It easily got overheated after about 20 minutes use and plastic melted. Since it comes with 2 years warranty so will try to contact B&D see what they can do.
