I am so sick of these deals. I lost count of how many bags I have. I'm in for one.

Looks like there are a bunch of tool bag combos for sale

I went with the 13 and 18 inch ones that have pockets on the outside. Only $8.99 for pickup

I got the smaller combo kit (maybe 16" and 13" or 13" and 10"? Don't remember) for free after freecash I had and I picked them up, thought about loading them up with tools and realized I liked them better organized in my toolbox. So now they're just sorta sitting there for when I need tools on the go, I guess.

Maybe I don't have enough tools to have the ones that stay at home and the ones that move around, but I really just didn't like the jumbled pile of tools at the bottom. What's the point of having to pull out every screwdriver to see if it's the right one? It's only marginally better than throwing them in a paper bag! 😝

[Having said that, for a few bucks after freecash, sure, why not! I'm on my third tiny toolbox from Sears because hey...who am I to turn down a free tiny toolbox?]

If someone else has a better use case for these that I'm missing, please chime in!

For screwdrivers, I bought a 12" pouch [homedepot.com] from Homedepot. That really made all the difference as screwdrivers are what I use the most. It has two dividers so one side has my regular sized screwdrivers including my favorite T shaped driver and the other side has my precision drivers.

I get what you mean though. I stopped throwing everything in one bag as it becomes unbearably heavy and I started calling it the hernia bag. I now separate my tools into plumbing and electrical. I also have the Craftman tote bag that I use when I don't want to carry both bags. I own a small rental complex and do a lot of small repairs on my own.

I have these from a previous deal. They are nice, thick canvas type material that has held up well for me. At this price I'd definitely recommend them.

Buy the bags now! Sears will be out of business within 18 months. Lowes is selling more Craftsmen tools than Sears ever dream of.
