Slickdeals purged my account even though I indicated I am not from EU

I was in EU two weeks ago. When I traveled back slickdeals asked me if I am from EU and I indicated 'NO'. Today without a single warning, my account of 10 year old got deleted!! Anyway I could get it back?

Same thing happened with my account. I responded to the email asking if I was from the EU or else they would delete my account, and they still did.

I would hope they weren't short-sighted enough to actually delete the accounts and all backups. Hopefully they just disabled them temporarily in case they happened to have made a mistake...

I logged in from Switzerland last week and got the email this week. When I followed the link in that email, I cannot find any place to change my status or confirm I am not an EEA user.

Exactly the same thing happened to me! Verified that I did not live in the EU about 4 days ago.

Same happened to me. Got the email 14 Jun @ 08:53 and it stated the account would deleted if the status wasn't updated by 15 Jun. My old posts and activity now have a username of "euuser" followed by 7 random digits.

Hello,
I am having the same problem. Was vacation in the EU and came back, my account got deleted a couple of days ago WITHOUT notice or warning. I was wondering what happened. Please help
