The camera body goes for 1100. The lens goes for about 350. If applicable, tack on an additional 140 for tax.

Sony sets the prices on just about everything they sell. The benefit from buying here would be savings on tax and a discount on the lens as a bundle.

Sorry I dunno. Sony does have Zeiss glass but sometimes that doesn't mean much. I've heard good things about that particular Sigma lens but I don't have first-hand experience. Oftentimes I do a search for the lens on Flickr to see sample shots. If you're just starting and the prices are fairly similar, maybe go with the cheaper option. Consider how crucial a faster lens might be for your needs. That could hugely change the cost.

I got exactly the same bundle from Buydig, like 6-7 month ago...Sold the 30mm lens, and bought from a Craigslist Sony 16-70mm ZEISS lens(paid the man $500 for like new lens with a papers, original box).
What a bundle...LOVE IT...SEL1670Z ZEISS lens is unbelievable...

Amazing camera and great lens. Not the steepest discount but a great deal overall, just considering how much of a bang-for-buck this camera (and lens) are to begin with.

Unless you're seriously considering the A7III, this is the best money can buy for the price point if you're looking to get into video.

Ebay I guess, I've never sold stuff there, usually locally on Craigslist or offer up. I'll post on ebay in a couple days. I just bought the 35mm 1.4 sigma emount so I need that extra cash right now lol

Just FYI, the cut of eBay + PayPal is about 10%. So maybe it's better to sell it through Craigslist or Facebook.

Ahhh, thanks maybe I'll do that instead or raise it 90$ to cover those expenses.
