Sony X900F-Series 75"-Class HDR UHD Smart LED TV $2849 at Greentoe.com

Update - Final Price was $2479 after price protection

First time post so be gentle please

I have been watching the deals on 75" LCD's for a while now. The Sony 900F has received nice ratings from rtings: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x900f and appears about perfect for my application. (watch sports and have windows in my room)

I could not justify the current street pricing of the 900F over latest 900E offerings but Greentoe came back with a price of $2849 which I accepted today. Great TV - I believe this is great deal for a current (2018 with a good processor) television.

Pricing locally and on Amazon is $3398 - $3498.

Be gentle please...

Does sony make a 75 that will be as good or better than an LG OLED 65 when it comes to gaming and sports?

Very good price.
What's the difference between buying from Greentoe and purchasing from a authorized retailer on eBay ? I got an offer accepted from Greentoe for $3000 for the Sony xbr-75x940e and Buydig has been selling it for that same price on eBay lately. I haven't pulled the trigger on none, even after I said I would definitely purchase for $3,000. I guess I'm just very concerned about purchasing from a third party and not getting a full manufactured warranty if something goes wrong.

I had a great experience with them on my 940e. I was able to price match it even lower after I purchased. Greentoe is good, shipping is just curbside so I'd try to be available to wait for the truck. They only sale from Sony Authorized Dealers and you get the manufacturer warranty. I added an extended warranty with Costco square trade also.

From comments I've seen, Green toe buys from authorized dealers.

So if I purchase from EBay or Greentoe as long as is from an authorized retailer I should be fully covered?

For a bright room this or the Visio P-Series Quantum (2000 nits?) might be better. Oleds are not currently beat when the room is darker.

Oled is better unless the room is bright.
