I couldn't make out if this is a low profile card ? I have a M93P SFF desktop and I wonder if it will fit in there.

Good god just buy a 7970 or similiar 2012 era top end gfx card, they are better than these (use more power) but have higher performance.
Link us a 7970 for $70 or less brand new, no auction. Same as this thread. Thanks.

I know people love to knock on this card because it will not give you ultra settings like a $400 card will. However, I am more than happy with the settings I do get. When I can play demanding games like doom, gta v, and bf1 on high I cannot complain.

Okay, ill bite what resolution are you playing on. I cant imagine your playing bf1 and gta 5 on 1080p with 30 or more fps. Has to look like a dlide show.

Believe what you want then. Although it is just that. Why would I post my experience with the card to cause elitists like yourself to bite. With an i7-7700 and 16gb most games run great. I do not need 100 fps at 1440p.

Debating on getting this or the $100 560 as a holdover until 1060 prices b come reasonable or until the next gen batch of cards.

I wish that they had the low profile version for a reasonable price such as this-- I have only seen them selling for 90+ on ebay used.

I bought the XFX model that is a low profile for my HTPC, from BB. Last time I looked, it was on clearance and was hovering much under $100. For 1080p gaming the 550 seems good enough (for low intensity gang beast type of games)

updated: MSI has a 560 in low profile. for those that need more ummph.

Pretty close in performance to the AMD APU's if doing a build from scratch its a tough choice.
Just want some basic gaming power for the kids, they have Dell SFF desktops so this wont fit in there.

So I can TRY to transplant to a regular case, but probably run into Dell OEM issues, or just do a cheap build. For a cheap build a $100 APU that covers CPU & GPU seems like the better way to go.
