Just bought 7 for different phones, with first class rush processing $13 - all tempered glass for various phones.

I bought the "Tempered Glass" for the S7, S8 and Note 8. They are plastic and they aren't sized properly. Not worth buying. I do like some of the other accessories for the price, like the cleaning cloths, etc.

I generally buy tempered glass from Amazon since I have prime and it's faster and about the same cost. I have used tempered glass protectors from xtremeguard before and they apparently use different suppliers so the product may vary, but generally has been ok in my experience.

What I really use xtremeguard for, all the time, is for the wet-install skins for the curved edged phones like the S7 / S8 / S9, as well as the glass backs of phones, and even metal backed phones like the iPhone 5 / 6 etc.

I find over time the back of the phones get scratched from dust / other debris, and having a skin on the back protects the back and keeps it looking new.

I just replaced the wet-install screen protector on a S7 Edge recently with a new one. The first one had good coverage, but the case was causing the edges to lift up. I took a new wet-install skin, trimmed about 3mm from the edge, installed it, and now it won't be rubbed / lifted up by the cases.

Nothing beats xtremeguard for wet-install skin protectors. They have more product patterns than anyone, and great prices and fast free shipping.

These have been good for us over the years, wife's iPhone 6s now has a 8 Plus, daughter's iPod Touch 6th Gen, iPhone SE now iPhone 8, we've used these tempered glass on all of those and they've been fine. I ordered one for my Pixel 1st gen 5" and didn't like the screen coverage...it's too case friendly so I went with a full coverage Spigen but other than that we've like xtremeguard. I also live in the same state as the company so shipping is fast.

Not a fan of the quality. Kept peeling off of my phone. I got a tempered glass protector from Aldi instead which has been great.

Spartan or Regular which one is better? I don't want to deal with peeling off, bubbles.

Says you. I use larger sections to line the bottom of my folding kayak. 50+ hours in the water and no peeling. No better product for what I use it for. Way better than that flextape crap on tv.

I've been applying xtremeguard/zagg/BSE protectors for nearly a decade. The problems you're having could be attributed to bad cuts on their part (they don't always do a perfect job), but it's more likely that you didn't install it properly. There's a learning curve when it comes to wet-install protectors. You have to be careful with the edging--too close to the product edge, and it's more likely to catch on things, pickup dirt, and from there it only gets worse. I've had a single shield installed on my main phone for more than 2 years now. No problems after trimming excess prior to the initial install.
