Yes, you can play back via iTunes/Windows.
Also MA titles will port to the usual other services as well for play back on non apple devices.

Remember to use MoviesAnywhere to link your iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play movie libraries.

Even if you're in another ecosystem, just buy the film(s) on a desktop, and watch on a Fire, Shield, or whatnot.

On your LG, if you have the VUDU app, you can use that...link your iTunes account to MoviesAnywhere. Also, link VUDU & even google play or Fandango. Vudu has the 2nd most 4K & if the movies you purchase are from the studios that support moviesanywhere, they will port to all the connected services in 4K or whatever resolution you purchase the movie. Works well, but takes some studying to figure out what movies work or not. Best way to tell is check moviesanywhere....if you search & it shows there, it is compatible!!! enjoy!

I haven't seen BvS yet, but I'm assuming the Ultimate Edition is the version to get 🤷🏻 ♂️

wow, that really sucks, no wonder I hate apple.
Yeah it's awful that you have to use their apps to play their media. Off to buy some movies on the Microsoft store!

maybe I misunderstood but I never tried iTunes, seems silly to lock it down to iOS only. I might have bought a movie from them but no apple device here and no desire to install iTunes on my PC.

Understood. I get that it's not for everyone.

Yes, but drink your favorite strong alcoholic beverage first. That way you'll assume the plot holes are just your drunk memory messing with you. 😁
