Be careful of the "success story" comments for this "deal". There is some obvious paid shilling going on here, including the OP.

it's already noted, but will mention it again.. keep in mind it's only 30hz@4K.. you need to get an active hdmi converter if you want 60hz at 4k.
I am looking for one myself, but they are around $20.

I actually bought this product and found it's even finicky at 1080p 60hz at times, I'll get random stutters and image losses when routing my ps4 pro to 1080p projector. That being said 99.9% of the uptime it works fine

Thanks. Can you link to one so I can have an example? My Google search didn't turn up one

Not HDCP compatible, not true UHD/4K. This is just rebranded 1080p junk from 10 years ago.

is it just for a few seconds? or do you have to unplug it and plug it back in to make it working again? just wondering how bad it is since I'm interested with a similar application

I was looking for one myself; this is the one I just ordered, it seems to do the job. Reviews say the connection is a little finicky though

I know nothing about this HDMI splitter, but owning several different types, I can say some are finnicky. For instance, I have one when it gets split to my amplifier and to a HDMI monitor, it will make the 7.1 audio option unavailable on my PC with the amplifier. Another splitter will still allow 7.1. Occasionally my PC's video will start flickering and I just bypass the splitter and everything is fine.

My graphics card has 2 HDMI ports, but I found Windows' dual monitor (clone) output to be far less reliable than an unreliable splitter. I can't count how many times I'd start up a game in dual monitor mode and have no video on either. So I went to 1 HDMI out with a splitter and yank the splitter when it starts acting up. Nothing is allowed to be easy and reliable unless you pay through the nose.

Owned this for maybe six months now. For the price, and if you're not needing 4k, it's great. Worked flawlessly for us.

I used to use these to split consoles from TV to gaming monitor, but you'll lose 4k/hdr so they've been pretty much useless since i upgraded to ps4 pro and Xbox x.

They are bidirectional so you can split one souce to two screens or two screens to one source.

You mean one source to two screens, or two sources to one screen (by selecting which active source using the switch button).
