Yeah, the original post was garbage, which is why I think we're seeing the TD's.

I think it's a decent deal if it is in-fact the regular 1060 version and not the Max-Q. I've seen posts claiming both. Might be worth doing research about that. Also would be interested in the heat dissipation capability of this machine, I've seen posts about some Omens with lesser specs having heat/throttling issues.

gaming laptop would be heavy for sure and I have no problem with no optical drive.
