I bought some like this previously and while they worked great, they are easy to lose when you disconnect them. If you plan on using the cable for USB c devices only then this deal is a good option. If you plan on removing the adapter to use it for micro usb devices sometimes then I suggest the adapters I linked below. You can use the clip to attach them around the USB cable, so they don't get lost when you disconnect them. They cost a little more ($2.25 ea vs $1.34 ea), but worth it for my usage.

Yep, the opposite of the post title. I'm bummed, too, because I want to get some converters so I only have USB-C cables lying around, which I can use with USB-C to microUSB adapters for my older devices.

I have these, they work perfectly fine and still work with quick charge and so on. I clip it on my keys for emergencies.

Same and I've been hoping to do this for years and the industry is moving so slowly

Might be a stupid question, but would you have to worry about the increased power output of USB C to micro USB with an adapter like that since USB C is generally pushing so much more power?

Good suggestion. I already lost one, more like misplaced but I can't find that.
