Fantastic deal; the link includes the "e-mail price" that can't even be found searching at Adorama, where it's listed at $150 which is discounted from the $275 retail price.

You're protecting $1500 in drone + probably the same in camera and lenses. $100 is a bargain.

Not sure that this is worth $50 more than the 400 series, especially since the 400 is a props-on bag.

If you see the recent $800 Phantom 4 Advanced from BH, you can add the 400-series bag for $40

I know this is off topic but what do people really do with these expensive drones?
I get they have some professional merit in certain photography aspects, mostly business related, but how are people actually using them?

You answered it already, the photography aspect. Taking photos/video isn't just for business, it can be done for pleasure as well.

I just never see them anywhere other than neighborhood parks or parking lots, where they're just flying around in circles.
I was just wondering if I am missing some popular use. Seems expensive if that's all people are doing.
Not to judge, hobbies are hobbies.

I see them used by event staff and I've seen city employees using them. That's what I meant by professional/business.

I bought my Mi Drone a case for $17. This "sale" price is crazy. My bag is sturdy, waterproof, fits laptop, extra batteries etc.. I don't understand this price.

Most use it for photography/videography.

Funny enough I have never see it use by city employee or at a park. I see it more at weddings, and tourist spots.
