Amazon currently has the 1TB Seagate FireCuda SATA 6Gb/s 2.5" Hybrid Gaming Hard Drive for $52.99 w/ FS for Prime users:

Lowest price per CCC but a dollar more expensive than last month's deal in newegg. At least you don't have to deal with rebates/coupons.

Looks like it works for PS4 too. Good luck!

I'm not trying to be rude, but I'm genuinely curious as to why Amazon matching other sales is a bad thing? 🤔

I suppose it seems ruthless, but as a consumer, I'm okay with it. I'm pretty sure I've bought Newegg stuff through Amazon before, or at least know I've purchased several big company's items through them.

Amazon's customer support has always been fantastic, and easy to work with, too.

Hate them ethically, I suppose, but it honestly just sounds like Amazon is doing the smart thing business-wise.

Amazon return policy and customer service has been better than newegg for me on several occasions. That said, I still get it where it's cheaper most times.

Looks like Newegg matched it if you can "deal" with a coupon...

Bought for a new gaming rig for the son. Doing it on a budget so this works nicely.

Backwards. Amazon matched Newegg. Amazon's game is to match everyone else's sale prices. They truly are bottom dwellers

Noticed this drive is 5400RPM. How does it compare to the 7200RPM Firecuda?

Yes I had one in my original PS4. Works good, much better value than using a 500gb SSD or whatever.

If you're using in a PC you'll want to go with the 3.5" 7200RPM model. There is no 2.5" 7200RPM FireCuda so its all about which fit you need.
