Most newer gpus are going to be geared towards 4k gaming, which means you need a good 4k monitor and the frames per second and 4k are not there yet specifically for competitive online gaming, so the 10 series should still hold a good value for everyone who plays at 1080p. also saying that gpu prices are going to drop is like saying the sky is blue everyone knows that.

that also means 1080p gaming will be cheaper on newer gpus

EVGA is worse than most drug dealers.

they will have plenty of refurbs because of all the returns of purchases way over MSRP.

they have a restocking fee and on average you loose $40 on shipping because they don't refund that even if it's still Unopened!

I wouldn't expect Nvidia releasing their new GPUs anytime soon. Manufacturers have said it's longs time till then. And news just dropped that Nvidia GPUs are overstocked and being returned in excess from distributors. The price drops are probably from an over supply, and things returning to 'before' Ethereum mining.
