try boarding with ANYTHING other than purse, will have it measured to 1/2 inch ,then find a noncompliance reason, then"fined" $100 for boarding gate "fee",, $100+$49 = $149 each way... all while others must wait to board

Yup, not worth it. Frontier also attracts a lot of "trashy" people that even Greyhound would turn away.

Geez guys, is Frontier really that bad? I see a few nice deals out of Orlando, but I'm not too sure anymore.

I think it varies, I flew frontier twice and as long as my bag fit under the seat I was good. I packed light and also checked in over the app, which I think helped to just slide past the crew without drawing extra scrutiny.

They make it clear what is included with the ticket, and how to purchase extras. Whenever I've flown Frontier even adding everything into the ticket including extra leg room and a fully refundable ticket it's cheaper than any other airline. YMMV. But if you are paying at the gate, you are doing it wrong because you were too lazy to spend the 30 seconds to read what you were buying.

Frontier is fine, like with almost all airlines now you can't just do whatever you want with luggage and expect it to be free.

Frontier is not as bad as some would say. My experience is okay. Used it last year from SF to Orlando. The seat was not very comfortable, but cannot complain much given the price.

Will use it again this year, but they changed their schedules somehow. Last year it took me 5 hours nonstop. This year, it is 17 hours with 1 or 2 stops. No way Jose.
