I have a backpack that looks literally identical to this but made by a different company. Even the makers name is stamped in the same spot. I've been very happy with it but I didn't pay much if any more than the "sale" price. It's made by "aukmont" sp? and made in China. This just seems like rla rebranded version of it.

I've owned this for about a year, used daily to lug my laptop and other essentials to work. The straps aren't too narrow like someone else suggested, but it can get annoying to fasten the loops if you're in and out often like I am. But I've found that tightening the fastener and simply threading the loops into place without locking them in works fine to keep it shut. Mine also included a little clip you could attach to your keys that keeps them right inside the opening, easily accessed.

The only real negative is that the alignment of stitches on mine is cheap looking. Thankfully this is mostly only visible on the interior. For this sale price, I'd definitely buy again.

If my kids take longer to destroy this one than the nylon ones at the same price; it's a good deal.

Thanks for the post. I've been looking for a backpack that can fit my 17" work laptop under $30. With free returns this is worth a try.

That's a safety feature to make it harder to open w/o you noticing.

Very tempted, nice looking bag for the price.
