Uses "TuYa" app

You don't really need 'Fakespot' to evaluate the reviews- just read the most recent reviews.

I have one of these and it works fine. I do want to point out that you won't be able to use both next to each other. If you put it in the lower outlet, you won't be able to plug in anything in the upper one. I use mine in the upper one and it works out fine.

Yeah, those reviews... do not appear authentic. Ahem.

Why would I use Faskespot to evaluate the reviews in the first place? Confused

All of these fly-by-night Chinese plugs suck. They're buggy and temperamental. I'm not an alarmist, claiming they're going to burn down your house...but they just plain suck. When they quit working - and they will - the company no longer exists, but surprise surprise, there's another identical unit with a brand new company.

Source: I own a variety of them. I tried to leave a review on the latest set I bought and Amazon has it locked down because of all the fake reviews.

10amps
no energy monitoring
review says it can work with "smart life" app (which is quite popular among those cheap plugs)

ok deal for controlling a lamp or so

I'd go for these instead. They handle full outlet capacity of 15A and energy monitoring.

2pk / $12.99.
Mini Smart Plug VRLIFE Wifi Smart Socket Compatible with Amazon Echo Alexa & Google Home Remote or Voice Control with Power Monitoring & Timing Funtion 2 Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07784Q...lBbBQSQDJZ

Fakespot A.
I have bought them several times at Amazon with varying brand names. It seems to be the same design and they work great. I posted a couple weeks ago where it was at a discounted credit price and the thread showed no love. I'm using them for high current devices like hot tubs and portable dehumidifiers so stress testing them for a year still going strong

Judging by customer reviews, all smart plugs will burn your house down. Look at the reviews for TP-Link, an actual name brand product, there are photos of melted plugs.

Just my .02

I bought this and it failed after 25 days of non continuous use.
It started turning off by itself with decent amount of load approx 300w usage (it was a computer) after awhile.

No problem with low power use though.
