I think this is a pretty good deal for a Mont Blanc pen.

Looks like a good deal, compared to other places. I just got mine today and I love it. Could be a good graduation gift.

$179.99 plus tax if applicable

Please not that this is for Costco Members only. I tried to edit my post but not sure how to do it. Bear with me, this is my first post.

In for 5, I love drawing mustaches and eye patches on people on newspaper with these pens.

Put $179 in investment or get something that your recent graduate will use. Why $180+tax for a pen?
Maybe as a corporate gift if you want to impress your small customer, but even they would rather have you spend this money on something else.
Hint: Give them a gift receipt, but they can't return it to Costco, right? You must be a member to return stuff?

Jeez. This pen has like a 100 year lineage. If you dont like wine doesn't mean people haven't respected and enjoyed it (at more than $5 a bottle) for hundreds of years. I am a bathroom designer and I used to blow through a pen a DAY. Nice pens definitely stick around much longer. Why did you pay $20,000 for your stupid Honda when you could have spent $100 on a bike.

300 years? That's some magic ink.

Looks like the Montblanc home page is showing this pen for $340:

http://www.montblanc.com/en-us/co...t-Pen.html

I have several Montblanc pens including a their flagship Meisterstuck 149 which retails for $935. Is that alot of money for a pen? Its relative. I like to use it and see it on my desk and feels and writes great. So for me yes, its well worth it. and my clients that appreciate pens, love it.

Looks like its not available anymore. Sorry it must have sold out quickly. My advice is go to the MontBlanc store and write with it. And if you like it and can afford it - buy it. if not go use the free pens they give away at the local banks.

I hand these out in local restaurants instead of crayons so the kids are properly entertained Wave

In other news, what *universe* do people live in that think this is a good deal?
