Would this be good enough to scare away raccoons and such from tearing apart my garbage twice a week? I know they are afraid of the light, but I doubt this solar light is bright enough... any thoughts suggestions?

Use bungie cords to keep the lid shut

Add a bracket to to lid to fasten it shut

Drill a hole in the lid and a hole in the side and use a string or lock or carabineer through the holes to keep it shut

Put a cinder block on the lid to keep it shut

Put trash bins in garage
