FreedomPop Nationwide 4G LTE 3-in-1 Basic Free SIM Card Kit

This kit is on sale through June 23, 2018 for 99 cents or use your Target REDcard and get it for 94 cents with free 2-day shipping.

FreedomPop has worked out very well for me and my family for many years now. Yes, occasionally I have seen a few strange charges, but a simple inquiry always cleared those up quickly. The service really is free if you read and follow the details. This particular SIM card has worked well for me for a while in my own phone.

Now to find a deal on a cheapo ATT Prepaid/other unlocked smartphone. (I am only playing around with this to see if I can use the phone number to get around Coupons.com phone number verification).

FYI, from my experience if a Google Voice number is not accepted by a business then they will also not accept a FreedomPop number.

I wonder if PayPal is also accepted for activation, it is accepted as a payment method once your account is established.

Damn...I forgot it is more of a VOIP service than an actual phone service. Oh well, worth a shot anyway.

I was hoping they wouldn't require to add CC to use their service.
Because I already hit the limit 5 per CC. Now I couldn't get any FP deal if I wanted to.
FP also blacklist all the prepaid CC.

you don't need to subscribe any service when you activate sim card. but even you choose no top up at the end, they still charge you $10 top up fee. you can call customer service to get it back. so total you spend is 0.99 plus tax plus 0.99 activate fee.

Yep like many others I had to learn that lesson myself the hard way...if only I headed advice like yours I would have saved hours of frustration and hassle. Free does come with a price in this case if you consider your time worth anything.
