I prefer chunks over chips for any kind of smoke as they last much longer. Particularly useful for overnight brisket smokes

Agree! I was a huge fan of chunks over chips but then started to use pellets instead. A bag of pellets lasts a really long time and they burn so slowly. I use them in a traditional barrel smoker.

Seems to be the more normal price on Amazon - Pecan and Hickory are both priced at $3.99 (but are add-ons). Still going to grab one of each, need some more chips. Thanks!

Usually cheaper at Walmart I can't remember the brands but good chips. I also got a couple of the other flavors of these. You'll be happy with either

But yes this is normal price
