Amazon is having a 3-pack Samsung connect for sale at 99.99$ (50% off), shipping is free.
Very nice price for a mesh wifi network, plus you can choose one of them to work as a Smartthings Hub (the other two will then only work as wifi repeater).

I have this in our house. First off, they all act as Smartthings repeater hubs for both zwave and zigbee, not just one of them as the OP stated. It extends your ST footprint vastly. Second, It runs in both standalone and bridge mode. In standalone, it does router functions also. It is pretty simplistic in the options it offers, but the control for is done via the smartthings app. No, not a full featured router with vlans ect. However I use this in bridge mode. This allow it to function as just my wifi network and ST network.

Coverage is great in our house, and we have a ranch sprawling 2200 with stucco (bad for any signal) and lots of turns. I do have gigabit download speeds (940) and on wifi get 400mbps-500mbps in about 90% of the house. The other thing is this hub will cap your wireless at 866mbps max theoretical so keep that in mind.

The best way to run these is to connect each to a gigabit wall port. The exact same as you would with a Ubiquity. If you just rely on wireless mesh backhaul (only 1 is connected to a gigabit router, the other 2 are just wirelessly meshed) then you will have slow speeds. How slow? About 200mbps max and under constant load like wifi connected devices streaming, that would go lower.

Do not get this if you can not wire in 3x gigabit lines to each hub. That is the problem and main reason these get complaints of being slow.

If you have more then 10 devices on any 1 hub node, then you would want a ubiquity ect solution. I personally had issues with the wired ubiquity stuff so I am off that brand.

The other really cool things about this hub also is it has wireless backhaul and a wired secondary port. I get ~870mbps speed off my desktop attached to it.

The extension of the wifi network is great, but the best part is the extension of the Smartthings network. If you dont have this, then you have to get something that acts as repeaters, typically like a smart light switch. I dont really like the smart light switches but needed to get whole house coverage for the door sensors and fire alarms. Before that was impossible with a single hub. With these, and to be clear I returned my standalone smartthings hub, I get great signal in the entire house.

In short, buy this. It is not a Ubiquity, but its damn good.

I got this from Lowe's in May (for much more than $99) and I love it. This is wifi mesh + ST hub - does everything that the hub used to handle for me and no connection dropdown for me either. I am guessing a new version is coming out soon but for my 3000 sqft three-level, I think I am all set for next few years.

People complaining about speed are most likely hardcore gamers or have insane Internet speed from ISP. I have 100 MBPS coming from the ISP and I am getting almost 100% of that speed throughout the home. You won't regret this purchase. I only regret pulling the trigger too fast and missing out on this deal. Good luck!

I have this, bought 3 pack on ebay for $100. It has worked fine and have had no disconnects or issues.

I really thought I was getting a good deal at $100,since they used to be $200. Would have liked to buy direct from amazon for this price, but still great price for 3 routers that can be used as repeaters.

Is this the lowest it has been? Maybe they're clearing these out because they gave this away when buying a Samsung phone a couple months back.

The reviews gave me pause too.but other review sites have better scores. Amazon reviews for it seem to be unusually low.

Getting it to detect Internet was a very annoying process, but once it connects, it's fine.

Anyone have experience with connect home and the pro version? Is it worth the extra to have the a2600? it's $70 for one. I was thinking of getting two pros vs this 3 pack. Anyone have thoughts?

I've been using this for last 6 months. Works great, wider coverage throughout the house compared to my old asus ac1900 router.

A bit off topic but this is annoying me... how can I default my iphone 7 to open amazon links in amazon ap instead of safari?
This feature is called "Universal links" and is something amazon needs to enable, unfortunately.

Does it have all the features of smartthings hub? I am just starting out with home automation and was planning on buying the hub and a separate wifi mesh.
