Cat6 is no longer enough? Has to be Cat7? Is there such a thing?

CCA? (Copper Clad Aluminum)

A quick search shows it as copper:

100% OXYGEN-FREE BARE COPPER CONDUCTOR

Don't be fooled by Copper Clad Aluminium (CCA) cables.
Bare copper has a much higher conductivity and tensile strength than aluminium.
Copper cables are expensive, however they perform much better and live much longer.

Looks like a great deal, thanks Op!

Cat 7 has shielding around each twisted pair (which are more loosely twisted), instead of only around the entire cable. It was supposed to be necessary for 10 Gbit Ethernet, before some spec changes made it possible to run 10 Gbit over Cat 6A (which only has shielding around the entire cable). So Cat 7 cable is basically just needlessly thick and expensive ethernet cable compared to Cat 6A.

Just checked the price of the 100ft cant be beat or even come close on ebay. Cheapest a quick look found was $28. So this is a steal if you really want to just future proof yourself and run all brand new CAT7 for the heck of it. When I get my new house probably will go that route, I know they are unnecessary but the price difference is not that huge so why not.

I need 100ft outdoor cable. Maybe in grey? Monoprice like there are good options but I don't want to buy 1000ft.
