No it doesn't strip the wax. Read the questions. And the reviews.

How does this compare to Meguiar's Ultimate Wash and Wax? A 48 ounce bottle of Meguiar's costs about half the price, and while the Chemical Guys product is cheaper on a per ounce basis, it would take me many years to get through a gallon of car wash so I'm inclined to go with the Meguiar's unless there's some advantage to the Chem Guys product.

This wash, if used somewhat concentrated, will strip any wax or sealant from your car. Which is a plus if you plan to wax after washing, but a negative if you aren't.
Thanks for the info. I'm looking for something to help me go longer between waxing so looks like I should pass on this.

Doesn't this shampoo include wax?

No, this has a wax in it. It does not strip existing waxes or sealants off your car.

You are thinking of their clean slate product, perhaps?

I confused it with their "Wash N Gloss" which is the same color, roughly same price, and does strip wax. My mistake. My apologies.
