Anyone have this and can provide input?! Really considering this!

So the 2017 model on amazon is about $177 more. I don't see this as that big of a deal, although Newegg doesn't have tax. Might just wait till Fourth of July sale.

You can also get the 2018 NU8000 for about $1300 with a student discount.

1. This is also the 2017 model.
2. It gets really bright and but is edge lit so the local dimming is very limited. True 120hz refresh rate.
3. The two major dislikes about this tv for me is even though the TV itself has a premium feel, it has a cheap plastic box that house the hdmi and several other inputs. The remote suffers from the same cheap plastic feel.
I also really hate the Samsung OS, but the voice controls with the remote work relatively well so it's somewhat redeeming.

I have this in the 55" and I absolutely love it. I use it for watching sports, 4K gaming and 4K HDR movies. I do agree with ChubbyHubby though in regards to the plastic HDMI housing and remote. For me, I use a receiver and a Logitech remote so these issues are not that important to me. I have had the TV for almost a year now and have not had a single issue with it. I have not followed pricing of the 65" that much so I cannot comment on It being a good deal or not, but I do l have the TV and have enjoyed it since I got it.

PC richard and son had this for $999 about 2 months ago, had to wait almost amonth to get it delivered but worth it at that price, not so sure about $1099 because you creep price wise into better tvs at that point

Isn't $1000-1200 their regular "sale" price for 8000 and 9000 range now?

I suppose this line is considered mid-town range since it has 120hz but not HDR right? What their next level up? I suppose their top LCD li e is QLED models?

They change models every year they just repack old stuff with new label with a minor change. Makes comparisons so hard.

Can you go into more detail as to why it stopped working?
