Decent price for a usable xps (ssd/ram upgrade is not mandatory). Tax kills the deal though. Personally I do not like 4k, too much hit for battery lifr

XPS 15 has an 97 WHr battery. It will run great even with 4k.

However, since its not a 8th gen cpu (The 2018 xps13,15's seem to be very optimized with the 8th gen cpus, it might be worth it to wait for a 9570 to hit the outlet stores in the next few months (maybe longer), since you are still forking out $1000+

This isn't a bad deal tho. Good luck!

Do you guys think it is worth to buy a Refurbished Dell XPS 9560 ( i7-7700HQ, 4K UHD Touch, 16 GB, 512 GB) for approximately 1250 USD?

The 17% off coupons will expire in few hours, thinking whether to pull the trigger or wait for few more days in case the price may go down a bit more?

Nope. The performance boost on the new one is so much better. The price on these will begin to dip more and more.

Do you think it will go down in coming July 4th weekend?

Probability not that soon but maybe. Refurbished ones will almost always be around. I'd hold out for a 20% off and a 15% cash back to stack with it if you want this particular model. When the new version hits the outlet this will drop 10-20% pre coupons. The xps 13 was very quick to hit the outlet so I anticipate the new xps 15 to be there in a month or less. All speculation here though.

Thank you, I'm going to wait it out. How can I get a cash back coupon, from Dell website? I've never seen it available from Dell Outlet though.

There are different cash back sites. They amount they give back varies. Just search Dell outlet cash back in Google and you will see some options. You can use that and stack with the dell outlet coupons which update Tuesday mornings.

I bought this computer retail brand new for 2k a year or so ago. Best computer I've ever owned, runs very smoothly. Can't imagine getting it at this price.

Costco had the 9370 for $1300 + tax for 5-6 weeks. That offer ended about 2 weeks ago.

Is there any difference between "New" and "Certified Refurbished" on Dell Outlet. Usually the laptops mentioned "New" does not even come in Box as new one.

The refurbished PC I got from Dell came with a bad hard drive and wouldn't even boot on day 1. After replacing the hard drive the PC suffered from constant blue screen of death crashes before it's death. I sent it back to Dell for 2 weeks to have the Motherboard replaced and got it back only to find out that the GTX 1050 GPU soldered to the new Motherboard board was dead.

Best of luck to anybody buying one of these used parts bin PC's from Dell.
