So sorry... my virgin mobile $1/year is ending soon so I was considering this for a while, and then the $150 popped up and that really sweetened the deal. Basically, stay for 3 months of $45/month unlimited plan for free (with the $150 prepaid card), then maybe transfer to the Sprint free unlimited for a year? (Since xfinity is post paid verizon MVNO that should work right?)

Yes, based on previous deals, you can add a line, port in a number, and get the prepaid card.

I have one line with them and their unlocked iPhone. Can I use this iPhone for the new line?
If yes, can they lock it and what are the chances they will?

Thanks OP - be sure to read this nonsense folks "$10 per line monthly charge applies if at least one of the following post-pay subscriptions are not maintained on the account: Xfinity TV, Internet or Voice service. "

So unless u bbuy more it appears you pay $10 more ...
You're welcome! I think this is only available to xfinity customers, so you would have at least one of those subscriptions anyway, right?

I don't think they can lock a previously unlocked phone. You just have to port in a number for the new line and stay for 90 days to get the $150 prepaid card.

Ok... I have an inactive iPhone 6s... What is the cheapest and quickest way to activate and get a number to port over?

EdOz - That's how Xfinity Mobile works, they waive the $10 if you are an existing Xfinity customer. I've had a line for about 9 months now and as long as my daughter keeps the data under 100MB (use wifi!), the bill is less than $3/mo!
