Excellent keyboard yet the CUE software was so buggy for me. They did come out with a new software iCUE now so I'm guessing it would be more stable.

It's not. It's a roll of the dice on if it will get my RBG lights to the settings I set beforehand.

I could have still lived without RGB switching but none of my macros or shortcut keys (even the dedicated volume keys) would work at times!

So i have this keyboard, works perfecft and all. Keep in mind Corsair does not support the Wrist rest replacement. They say, you can use a K70 wrist rest, but it doesn't fit.

Make sure if you're cleaning the keyboard you take apart the wrist rest carefully.

I was on the fence with those 2 keyboards. I went with the K70 mainly because of the wrist rest. But also because I wanted the speed switches.

The wrist rest and the switch preference seem like the biggest variables. Otherwise, they both seem awesome. I've been very happy with my K70.

I had this keyboard and it had a few things that I did not like about it. Left Ctrl easily gets pressed accidentally and I always felt that the key spacing was off(but this is obviously personal preference). Other than this minor nitpicking, the keyboard was really nice.

This board started to double type 3 months after purchase; replacement after 1 month. Maybe I just have bad luck.

as mentioned, software sucks bad. And it only seems to get worse with each version or iteration.

Keyboard is decent, but that software OMG.

How does this compare to the Logitech G810? Anyone with experience with both? Just picked up an 810 but can still return it. Wondering if this might be better. TY!

It took a lot of work for me, but mine works really well now. For keyboard lighting patterns you've imported, they load based on the order they are put in top to bottom. Drag and drop the profile you want the computer to boot with to the top of the list and it'lll work. Also, install the most recent version, and use r/rgbprofiles for awesome customer made profiles.
