Issue with page-up/page-down using firefox and this site in past 2 weeks?

Hi everyone,

As you can see, I am a long time slickdealer and have never experienced this problem up until about 2 weeks ago. I thought it was an internal issue for me or a firefox issue, but it seems specifically on the slickdeals forum view using classic mode, if you try to page-up/page-down a bunch it will sometimes get "stuck"

the only way to show this would be via a screen share/video capture, but before i waste my time doing that, i am wondering if others have had issues?

this does not happen on any other websites (from what ive tested) and therefore seems to be limited to Slickdeals.

When you page-up down through a long scrolled view, it sometimes gets "stuck" and does a "bounce-back" where rather than continuing to go up or down, it just bounces back and forth between the last and future up/down motion.

let me know if this is a known issue recently introduced or if you absolutely need a video to show it?

or if you can prove/identify this as a fire fox issue, im willing to explore further ability to replicate at other sites

Hi ionizer,

Are you able to provide example links where you're experiencing this issue so we can try to reproduce it on our end?

Thanks!

Even on this page, if i scroll to the bottom and then try to hit page up, it "flickers" and wont continue all the way up:

Thanks, I just tested on my end and it seems fine to me. What version of Firefox are you using?

Thanks, I've also updated mine too.

Do you have any Firefox extensions installed? I've had issues before (not this particular issue) where I disabled all of my extensions then re-enabled them one at a time to find if there was a particular extension interfering with the site. If that doesn't work either then I'll submit a bug ticket with your video once it's ready for a developer to look into.

yes, i have the following extensions which i think are pretty popular:
  1. ABP (Adblock plus, most popular ad blocker)
  2. anonymoX (not being used currently)
  3. Tab Auto Refresh (Disabled of course for this site and any others open)
  4. Video Download helper (one of the most popular extensions for downloading videos embedded on a page)
