I have this in my car, would not recommend since the top surface (where your pet will sit) is slippery and they will slide around on turns/stop/go

I'm actually just using this to protect my seats. Does it work well for that?

yes, it would work great for that. Doesn't slide around since the underside is rubbery and it also has two small pipes that you can slide in between the top and bottom of the seat so it stays in place.

that being said, if you mean protect the seats as in have human passengers, the front part of the cover is kind of annoying if you just have it dangle behind people's legs, but this is less of an issue in an SUV/crossover (I have a sedan/hatch)

I've used it once with two wet/dirty 85-pound dogs... worked very well to protect the seats... but the seam around the slit where the seat belt slides through has already started to tear - revealing some foam stuff that's on the inside. Worth $13 I guess...

Thanks for that info. I'm looking at the pictures and I think I can make a few alterations if it becomes too annoying. I might just cut it off, add a velcro strap to it and stick it to the seats. I have a sedan as well.

For current owners maybe you can chime in - how do you wash this thing?

I've sprayed it down with a hose and air dried.

I've been using this type of cover for about a year now. It saved my seats on more times than I can count, but I've always wondered if there are others that cover up the doors, arm rest, and side interior. It's slob city

You might want the bench type instead, but it's not at this price.

I use one of these to protect my back bench seat from an 8 and 4yo (children, just as bad as pets). but holes for head rests to keep the blanket in place.
$8 at local uhaul. I believe I got a 5 back for $10 or so years ago and still use them. gets too messed up just use another.

Seems like it'd be handy for getting rid of a body. 🤔
