Thanks! In for 2. All I have is one nice battery backup that uses USB-C to charge... and I just know someday I'll lose the cable that came with it.

I agree the braiding is definitely a little stiff but they are very durable and the feel/quality of the micro connectors is high

Strange, I have the micro USB version and it broke within two days. The grip/lock on it is super tight and luckily it didn't break my charging port but the tip came out.

My wife used it for over a year without problem. I've since gotten a usb c one for myself. You do realize they have a warranty? Like most other stuff on Amazon, with a warranty a replacement is only a couple of emails away.

Hmm, that's obviously not great, but if it makes you feel better, that is an issue that USB-C was supposed to improve upon. Micro-USB plugs were prone to that sort of thing.

Thanks, I'll give their USB C version a try, since it doesn't have those hooks to lock it in place. the cable itself supports QC and seems like a great quality otherwise.

So seems like mixed reviews, I believe in general braided cables are bad for phones and damage the batteries. Can anyone confirm if these dont do that or if these are good quality/QC3.0

Tell me again how can the braiding possibly damage a phone's battery?
