I bought one of these about 2 years ago and got one year out of it. Now the trigger sticks as soon as you squeeze it, so has to be manually pushed forward to get the stream to stop. If you're in the garden and drop the hose on the ground to do other things this will often just turn on when the trigger is hit. I've been sprayed several times that way.

Still, not a bad price with the code. It's fairly heavy duty and has a pretty good weight to it, but isn't likely to give more than a year or two of use.

^Internal spring may be replaceable. HD has assorted springs that I've used as replacements in other nozzles.

does anyone know of a garden hose nozzle that actually will stand up over time every single one I've ever purchased whether it's the cheap crap at Home Depot the ones at Costco or Sam's sell in a bunch it doesn't seem to matter they all seem to break after a season or so. Granted I'm not babying the thing and taking the best care of it but I'm also not literally beating the crap out of it that it should break after one season. at this point willing to spend the money for one that will actually last but I'm not sure they make those anymore

Last year I have bought 2 but they are not good.
It's better to buy different nozzle spray at Target, Walmart, Home depot or Walmart. They have better nozzle spray and about same price.

This is exactly the price I'd expect to pay for a plastic nozzle.

There are some things that are impossible to find at a reasonable quality. Hose nozzles are one; retractable dog leashes are another.

Totally agreed. I went through avg one every year. I even bought some with lifetime warranty and its life is like 2 years max. Lol

For those with large gardens who prefer manual care or are serious about proper water dispersion, any one of these should do. They're also built to last.

I got a couple of these last year and using one of them for the second year, no issues so far. To extend its life I try to keep it in the shade and turn off the water when not in use.

I combined it with Camco [10, 15, 25 or 50 ft] Premium Drinking Water Hose - Lead and BPA Free [amazon.com], which cost $10-30 depending on length. Walmart sells the hose for the same price as Amazon, but you get 10% cash back from eb *bates, and the occasional slow-shipping discount at checkout (optional). This hose has really good fittings and is drinking water safe.
