Great find! Only concern is 2 year warranty. Plan to use Citi that will give a total of 4 yrs.

These should make nice stocking stuffers for my doorman, driver, and the guy who makes my smoothie every morning. In for a few. Nice find

I can appreciate a piece's history, fact that it's made with quality parts and a precision movement... But if this were anything other than a Breitling it'd be shunned as an incredibly ugly watch.

Invest the 4K in a good stock or ETF and retire earlier.

So, you don't buy ANYTHING non-essential? If so, kudos..

BUT if you buy any cars costing more than $15k or live in a house costing more than bare minimum or TV larger than 40", then please do go away as YOU are not acting as you are preaching.

Please do understand people want certain things and nice watch may be one of them. Do not worry about what other people are doing with their own money.

Please do remember that while price is attractive but this watch houses Breitling's in-house manufactured movement which most likely only Breitling authorized repair shops can work on which will bring the maintenance cost up wards of $7-800 probably within 5-10 years.

Just keep that in mind.

Also, for Breitling, a model being limited to 1000 piece isn't really "limited" per say if you are attracted by the mention of "limited" edition as if it was truly scarce, it would NOT show up on Ashford's website in the first place.

Just curious, what maintenance do watches need?

Gaskets, movement, etc. things wear over time on mechanical watches. They recommend annual maintenance ~$600

Wow. I have a 60's Navitimer in mainly a safety deposit box for well over a decade, seems to work fine. Never had any maintenance that I am aware of.
