I suggest contacting them. What I will say is that I used these H2O sim cards last year and bought 2 of them. I activated 1 within a few days and the second one I activated almost a year later. Can't say for sure if that is still true.

If I remember correctly, you are not required to provide a credit card to set up an account. You have the option to set up Auto Recharge with a credit card and automatically renew the service each month, which saves you 10% on the monthly charge. If you don't want to do that, you will have to recharge the account manually by getting another prepaid card or submitting a credit card payment in order to maintain service. If you let the service lapse, you will lose the phone number that you had if you reactivate with H2O Wireless later.

I just bought freedompop, but it sucks. You have to use their app to call or text. Does this use the native dialer in an iphone?

Yes, you use your phone just like you would with AT&T or any major carrier.

Yes, it uses normal voice circuits, I've had h20 on my iPhone for a year now, it's perfect .
