Alkaline leak less than "heavy duty" batteries, and I have used Rayovac for many years without any issues. Most batteries leak when they are left in the device for a long time after they have died.

Cheers. Got both an AA and AAA. The free shipping it gives when I sign into my account makes it super slick.

I buy the Royovac's on sale and have not had an issue with them leaking as badly as the Duracells. I will never but Duracells again as they have ruined a laser level and flashlight to name a few items.

Duracell will replace or repair. Had Rayovac "fusion" batteries die within like 2 weeks of install on things like remote controls. It was ridiculous. Swear off the brand, even at these prices, wouldn't put them in a throwaway kiddie toy.
