Tempting, but I doubt it will run on my iPad at all.

Fun game. It's not as pick-up-and-play as the Civ Rev series on the iPad, but it's good for what it is. Killer on the battery life, though.

Absolutely mind boggling how this isn't available on android or consoles. I guess apple needs a win every once and awhile.

So does the Full Game not include the Vikings Pack that's a separate IAP?

They're the largest company (by market value) worldwide. What wins exactly are they in "need" of?

Android tablets with the horsepower to run a game like this barely exist.

Fine, apple gamers needed a win.

I have both PC and iPAD version. Pretty much identical. Also, if you have touch enabled monitor then PC version supports that as well.

The fact not all apps are forced to be universal is sickening

I haven't followed the PC/Mac scene for ages, so I'm not sure if the Mac gaming scene is still a choice between years-old titles, or no titles.

As far as iOS, though, I think developers tend to target iOS because the revenue potential is greater and I think most of the Android-exclusive apps aren't games but things like file browsers, web browsers, productivity tools, etc.

Forcing developers to either:
1) make something that is very likely to have a terrible user experience, or
2) spend a ton of time on something with diminishing returns

Seems like it would be a poor decision.

As far as gaming, not in the apples core philosophy. They look down on video games.

Reference: John Carmacks recent comment on Steve Job. Ie the guy who got Steve jobs to create apple store for video games originally.

can someone tell me how much is this game now on app store?

My iPad is too old for this game, if it's still $24, I might head out to Costco.
