$40 manufacturer's savings** is valid 6/28/18 through 7/29/18. While supplies last.

According to my research this item qualifies for lifetime satisfaction policy, so you can return it at any time!

lifetime satisfaction policy eh?

you wouldn't mind posting info for that, I bought one of these trash routers on Black Friday and it can't hold a connection for more than an hour before throttling my 50mbps fiber connection down to 2mbps.

Go for the older X6 if you want to make it useful with custom firmware ?

I bought this router a few weeks ago at $200. Will get price match tomorrow.

Seems many have had issues, but I haven't had any so far. Been solid for me

Chat with customer support, they told me 90day policy does not apply to this device.
I guess it is hit and miss with this router. Many people stated that updating firmware helped resolving their issues. I'm sure tried, but just in case wanted to mention...

I'd suggest to get a used X6 on ebay. I got mine at $80, save a bit more with ebay GC from Target REDcard. It is easy to get one a bit below $100.

Thinking about buying this router, but the reviews kind of spook me. Do you have this router, and if so are you tech savvy? My current router (9 years old) people complained about a lot of issues but I fixed mine with some IT work, seeing if this router will be the same.

Although Costco has a great return policy so I could just buy it and try for a month.

I do not have it but will buy it later today. Was looking for a router for over 4 months now as my 8 year asus is no longer working for me. Price is right, specs are good, so I will give it a try. If it will have any issues, Costco will take it back Smilie

I have this router. I had to reboot every single day. But the recent firmware update fixed the issue. So, if you are buying the router update the firmware before use.

Head's up! WPA3 is out and it probably needs new hardware.

A very similar experience with my current router, thank you for the response!

Picked this up on Black Friday last year. It has been the best router I have owned to date. Sold signal and throughput. Highly recommended by this bloke.
