Thanks OP. Just got the email myself. I have 2 zooz 4 in 1 motion sensors, and if any of their other products are similar, STAY AWAY. have tried multiple device handlers and these keep disconnecting and eating batteries like mad. One is even 5 foot from my ST hub.
EDIT: just checked and mine are monprice, but almost 100% sure they are made by zooz, as the size shape and functionality match.

good price on the ZSE18 motion sensor, it gets mixed reviews [amazon.com] but it seems like many of them are for an older version or overly harsh. my plan is to use these to manage the lights in each room. I already have a couple of the monoprice motion sensors but they're big and clunky in comparison.

From one of the amazon reviews:
Quote :
When I originally received the zooz 4-in-1 version 1.0, I experienced all of the same problems other customers experienced; however, upon contacting the seller, they acknowledged the issue and quickly shipped me the updated version 2.0.
It should have worked right the first time, but contacting the seller is worth a shot.

I have 2 Zooz 4-in-1 sensors and I love them. No issues whatsoever. I have 3 different sensor products and like the Zooz ones the best.

I had my zooz/monprice 4 in1 automating my shop light, had to stop, it wasn't quick enough nor did it have a quick enough recycle time. My hue or iris motion sensors work much better for lights, but they're twice the price

This is not ZSE40 which you are referring to...this is MOTION sensor and I guess it is a brand new model, not at Amazon available yet. In addition, ZSE40 is just similar to monoprice one, Zooz has their own firmware, extra mounting bracket and it utilizes CR123 battery instead of low capacity 2x AAA. So, it is quite different inside and according to my experience it is much, much better then generic monopice.

These are absolutely different devices. I guess just use the same shell.... Zooz has their own firmware ( more reliable, with adjustable motion response, offset settings , etc ) , extra mounting bracket and it utilizes CR123 battery instead of low capacity 2x AAA. So, it is quite different inside and according to my experience it is much, much better then generic monopice.
