This seller has it for $414 from China and states its a EU version:

Apply 15% PERFECTDAY

Final for me shows $334.75

The one I have and have seen are all 110-220 so its just a matter of getting the app and using the correct US Pin.

Dont forget to use Paypal 5% might be a sub $300 deal if all goes through.

Watching this product for quite some time. The only issue is with Warranty. Finally made the purchase after adding $30 square trade warranty.

As per the info from other threads, it looks like Square Trade warranty is not useful for this item.

So since it's the EU version will we have any issue? Is there anyone that's tried it already?

Hah, I was coming here to post this deal!

Shouldn't be any issue with this in terms of being EU version. I bought one a few weeks ago for about $70 more than this, and now I want a second it's so good.

Hopefully there won't be any customs/duties.

The specs list the item as a dual voltage product so either replace the charnging cable cord or simply convert the pin using something like this:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Insten...thena=true

I am pretty sure the language is all dependent on the app and the subsequent connection to the vac.

Yep it's just a regular figure-8 cable. Most people have like 200 of those lying around. I just replaced the Euro + US adapter with a single cable for tidiness.

I am the owner of a 1st Gen Xiaomi vacuum, thought I'd provide some perspective.

Shortcomings:
* No spot clean button/command on the vacuum. You have to go into the app, go to the menu, go to manual control, and then hit the spot clean. Pretty annoying, and it looks like this is not fixed in Gen 2.
* Serious issues on carpet. The device is advertised as working for short pile carpet, but it doesn't work well on anything but a rug. Not sure if the new model is any better here. The motor was not strong enough to drive the brush through the carpet, and the cliff sensor kept getting confused, thinking there were bottomless pits all over my medium-tone. This new model does have a stronger motor, so it might be better in carpet, as long as your carpet is very light in color.
* App server issues. My vacuum doesn't work when you set the app to use the U.S. server. Have to set it to another country where the vacuum is officially supported. This is probably not fixed, as the new generation is not officially sold in the U.S. either.
* Amazon Alexa has an official skill that supports the 1st gen vacuum (and probably the 2nd gen too). But it stopped working for me a few months ago, and has not functioned since. You would say "Alexa, turn on *nameofvacuum*" and it would start a standard clean.

Navigation is excellent, but it looks like that was a focus for improvement on the new model for some reason.

1.) Spot clean button on the Gen 2 works perfectly. I was using it just 5 minutes ago!

2.) No issues on my short-pile carpet, and no cliff-sensor issues.

3.) No issue with my Gen 2 set to the US server.

4.) No comment on Alexa since I don't use it.

Think I'll wait a year or so for them to have an official US version. Even discounted this is too expensive to do any work arounds and have no warranty.

There are no workarounds needed. Just a regular figure-8 power cable. It's in English, uses a US server etc etc.

This one is considered one of the best currently available. Huge brand in China. Everyday price is ~$500.
