This TV is great. I bought this for my father-in-law for father's day when it was on sale for the same price at Costco. HDR content is where it really shines, but mainly we use Youtube TV on it and that works great as well.

The main reason I picked this TV is because it was the only Roku based TV at this price point that supported hardware decoding H265 without the need for transcoding for H264. This is very important because alot of my content on Plex is now H265.

Also I haven't had any issue with the TV taking a long time to power on -- its basically the same as any other TV based on the Roku TV platform.

Still fighting for more rights, but overall, they're doing better than a century ago

Decent tv. I also picked this up at Costco for $300 during Father's Day. Of course Costco comes with 90 day returns and 2 year warranty. Picture quality won't wow you but for $300 I can't complain

Just a thought. I don't have this TV. My TV has power saving mode as default in the settings. When in this mode, it takes long(er) to turn on the TV. I need to disable it to make it quicker.

My TV has a tendency to not see that my computer is hooked up to it. Thus I have to change to a different HDMI then go back.

I will have to see is there a power sharing mode that is causing this. It is quite frustrating. So thank you for posting this. The TV comes on about the same as the Computer comes up.

The video decoding got my interest. Wish I could test it out with a few files to see if it could play them well

For those who say it takes a long time to turn on, could you a little more specific? 10 sec, 30 sec, 1 min, ??

For what it's worth, this TV should give you the world cup in 4k with the Fox Sports app I believe...

Get the cheaper one. It's not like we are buying these for the quality of the picture
