I'm just looking aimlessly and have no idea.

I want the best bang for the buck and perhaps something on sale for a great price. It can be open box as long as good warranty.

Would not want any type refurb though.

Size - Prefer 13" or 15"
Windows
Not such a huge bezel
Good battery life
Prefer Dell but if great deal on good computer, it doesn't necessarily have to be Dell.

Been looking all day. I'm thinking I may need to do Dell certified refurbished. Only way to get more for your buck.

Anyone know if you can return for free if after your 21 days you decide not to keep it?

nice find. looks really good. only thing i don't like is the soldered ram, which restricts you from upgrading in the future, but 8gb ddr4 should be overkill for basic use.

Thanks. I just stumbled upon that thread after doing a search for laptops. It was OOS by the time I saw the thread, but I kept refreshing the product page each day and finally '1' showed up and I was able to order it. It has shipped and I'll get it next week.

Yep, I don't think the soldered ram will matter at all. The person this is for definitely just does basic stuff but I want her basic use to be a pleasant experience with quick boot ups, nice touch screen, backlit keyboard, slim bezels, fast charging, nice price and decent processor, etc.

I honestly don't like the 2 in 1s. I tried them in the past and returned. When you put in tablet mode, more than likely you are covering the fan vents and the laptop overheats quickly so I preferred just being a laptop anyway. If I had gotten a 2 in 1, I would have told her to don't use that mode except for a short time.

Score with this one!! Can't wait to get it.
