TV is amazing and better 90% of TVs on the market. It is currently the best performance/value TV you can possibly buy.

LG TVs are straight garbage unless you buy an OLED. Any comparable Samsung or Sony TV is double the price of this Vizio P. There is not a single TV that provides the better quality/price performance.

Sooooo true. I had a Visio few years back and thought it was okay for the price, got a Samsung on sale and didn't even know what I was missing. Ignorance is bliss I get. For TVs...Samsung or Sony premium models. Oleds if you can swing it and have a dedicated movie room.

Unless you are buying there highest tier. Samsung sucks. LG and Sony are premium models
*LG OLEDs, Samsung mid to high end, Sony, and Vizio P are all fairly premium TVs. The problem with vizio tends to be processing and upscaling. They just don't compete against Sony or Samsung in this area. Where they do compete is in backlighting, feature set, and value. You can get a better TV for the same money from Vizio but you can't get the best TV's from vizio. Right now those are OLED's from any manufacturer, Sony Z series and X940 series, and the Samsung Q9F(if you want freesync).

Wow considering it's brand new with close to 1000 nits and for 1100 quite a steal.

I got a Sony 930e, before someone attacks me as a marketer haha

People like you are why Samsung and lg sell shitty TVs at an expensive price lol just because it's a Samsun doesn't make it good. Actually most of their TVs are shit unless you get their higher tier ones for the price

I had to turn my dedicated movie room into a dedicated garage for my Ferraris.

If you get a decent panel, these are nice TVs. However, you might want to wait until the 4th of July sales hit at Dell.
