Very expensive bassinet but you can probably sell this on Craigslist or ebay for ~$600 after your baby has outgrown it.

I bought this for a friends baby shower last year and he told me that his wife said it was the greatest thing ever. No personal experience, but they couldnt stop raving about it.

Have you had a baby that just would not sleep... As a mom who lives far away from family/help this would have been a good deal when my LO was still little.

Holy crap, I bet even the Royal babies don't get this!

Besides, isn't strapping babies to a pad kinda weird?

automatically responding with increasing levels of white noise + motion to quickly soothe fussing...

but we got this for a tenth(ish) the price:

Wow, to think you only get a couple months use out of this... totally not worth it for your average SDer.

Depends how much extra few hours a night of sleep are worth to you.

This is Slickdeals, not Cheapdeals. There are a significant number of higher cost deals on this site. This site is for saving money on items people are looking to buy and not solely for saving $3 on a 48 roll of toilet paper.

I bought the Snoo during the Memorial Day sale for the same price and have nothing but positive things to say. Yes, it's expensive and seems frivolous but, how much do you value sleep? It doesn't just rock your baby to sleep, it's much more intuitive. I'm not one to buy just anything because it's shiny and new. I'm always on the lookout for bargains and deals but this purchase was a no brainer.

Sleep deprivation is real. No one is giving awards to parents who walk laps around their homes for hours desperately trying to get their baby to sleep. I don't have the luxury of family to help me and am not willing to pay for a night nurse. I figured the Snoo has a 30 day risk free guarantee so, what do I have to lose? It took a week for my little one to get accustomed to the Snoo but, our lives have changed. My husband and I are no longer delirious with exhaustion and can be better parents.

Try it, if it doesn't work out, you can send it back within 30 days at no cost to you.

Thanks OP. Just completed my purchase. I don't look at this as a $800 bassinet, but rather a $130ish a month fee to sleep better as a parent. I looked at my local Craigslist and it seems that you can sell for $500 - $600 after your baby is too old for it. But we are planning on having a second kid so if this works as well as people say it does we will just hang on to it for the next kid.
