I've got three on articulating arms but pushing it with larger tvs. I got one just for insurance at this price. A good deal with shipping costs included.

Anyone have one of these type of low profile mounts where it is not one continuous support rail like this one? If you look there are 2 separate support rail pieces that connect together in the middle with 8 bolts and a metal plate. I have installed several of these style low-profile mounts but all of the ones I have installed in the past had one continuous support rail. I'm sure they have started making these this way for packaging/shipping reasons but has anyone had an issue with theirs which is built like this, in 2 pieces? I'm especially wondering if it makes it harder to mount it and keep it level. Thanks.

Oh and the 2nd product pic makes me laugh. That 1.2" measurement is all kinds of marked wrong.

I have, I assume it's easier to produce and ship this way. TVs nowadays are so light, I very much doubt anyone would have a problem. I might not trust it with one of the old NEC plasmas but haven't thought twice about the ones I've used before.

I recently mounted a 50" tv that was well under the load limit on one of these that isn2 separate pieces connected by a plate in the middle, and let me tell you - never again am I getting a mount like this. It wasnt lining up at first then had an issue where the top bar was sagging, which naturally made the whole thing crooked. Also, with a big tv, there is very little room behind it for cables (even with spacers), especially if your inputs are on the bottom and you tilt the tv downwards.

Got an articulating mount and never looked back...

TlBig Grinr- If you are gonna be mounting a large tv, would highly reccomend you get something sturdier with more clearance to the wall.

I installed this mount - no issues when mounting the plate to the wall. I will say my only issue was that the "leveling arms" to get it to sit down come not tightened so I didn't realize this when hanging it on the wall and you can't really get to these adjustments when mounted.

Otherwise perfectly fine holding my 55" TCL

Much harder to keep level and the hole positioning becomes questionable.
