I remember this game being very fun. I played through it once and remember wishing there were more levels.

At least Lococycle is from the US site so I feel safe getting it. Is there a reason why this is free since it's not part of the posted free with Gold titles for July? Just random kindness from Micro$oft's oh-so-big heart?

After stories of people getting their US accounts banned for getting games from foreign marketplaces, I'm not willing to take the risk on Kalimba or Zoo Tycoon. No free game is worth losing hundreds of games I've bought over the years.

No idea that is a thing, to get banned for getting a free game that's freely available to add to your xbl account... If MS didn't want to allow it then they could easily block it such as US based accounts from getting free foreign games.. Sounds ridiculous to me there has to be more to it that they were doing to abuse the TOS

I haven't heard of it happening recently, but 1-3 years ago (time blends together in my mind) I remember seeing threads about numerous bannings on CAG for people who got games from foreign marketplaces. I don't know if that was only for paid games or free games or if MS ended that banning, but until I hear believable info it no longer happens, I will assume it could happen. And MS, like many other companies, could put in measures to prevent people from doing bannable stuff, but companies prefer to punish people after the fact than prevent them in the first place. You can get banned by buying more than 3 of an item from Best Buy.com in a year. There was an easy way to get banned from Staples.com (like using Rewards or coupons on GCs), but I forgot what it was. Suffice it to say companies prefer to set traps and entrap people rather than blocking people from the activity or posting clear warnings.

I have and continue to pass on all freebies from foreign marketplaces on XBL or PSN. As tempted as I am, I always tell myself it's not worth the risk of losing hundreds of games for a free game. But at least I was able to get Lococycle.

Alright I understand thanks for the heads up, I've gotten free foreign games before but I never play them anyway lol so won't matter if I pass these up either 😁

I don't have Gold Live and it doesn't allow me to download the game because it wants a Madredeem code.
