The gamble is the monthly installments. Sad that they started doing that. I used to spend around $500 a month at sears when the syw points always came in full amounts. Since they went to installments I haven't bought a single thing. Going on 3 or 4 months for me now. Good way for them to accelerate their spiral into bankruptcy

i am going to buy one of their other pools. the price to have it shipped is 159.99. the price changes when I select in store pick up to 179.99. shipping is $30. so they want to charge me more, to go to the store and pick something up myself. no wonder they are going t1ts up.

No it's $10 less to pickup if your numbers are correct.

I am not including freight into the price of the item. I can buy the same thing at two different prices, but the cost to pick it up is more. Crazy pricing scheme in my opinion.

I ended up ordering a 20' x 48"(https://www.kmart.com/intex-20-82...55514000P) they had it on sale for $429.99 and I was able to get a $20 coupon to work off of retailmenot. The total came to $435.61 with taxes, which is a good deal since everywhere I looked it was over $620.
Thanks for the post!

They're betting they won't be around in 11 months, I'm guessing. JK. It's really just a way for them to spread out their rewards reimbursement over several quarters in order to make it look like revenue is up.

Too bad, not available for pickup or for delivery in Detroit area.
I had a mouse chew up my last pool so we are looking to replace it. I will have to look into just replacing a liner, maybe it is cheaper some how.
