now - the only question is - which one to get :-)
I would love to see those prices going below $200 but for that I most likely would have to wait until Black Friday

I can't speak from direct experience, but I have read a lot of comments about the MSI Armor series having bad cooling and loud fans.

from reviews it looks like it.
on the other hand XFX reviews suggest cool ride. So for now XFX seams to be winning in my book.

Any direct experience comments are welcome and highly appreciated.

I have the RX 470 version of the MSI armor. Can confirm fans are loud, but haven't had any problems with cooling.

It will work but remember, some games aren't optimized for crossfire and don't see much of a performance bump.

Of course there are no Nvidia cards. I just bought the 35" AOC widescreen monitor when it was at the $680 price. It has Gsync so I would be a fool if I picked up anything other than an Nvidia Card. I'll keep crossing my fingers.
Depends on your FPS / Hz m8. If you're 100+ on both of those, neither adaptive sync technology will do much of anything for you.

Get a Sapphire card if you can find a similar deal on one... they've been making great quality ATI/AMD cards for ages. Nitro+ cards are very nice.

I've had an XFX 290X for a few years, very good cooling and still going strong. I would recommend the brand. Just know these cards do suck a lot of power.

So if I have a 60 Hz with Freesync and currently getting 60-80FPS, would getting an AMD card be worth switching to from nvidia?

Anyone think these cards will drop in price much before Black Friday? I've got a 32" 1440p monitor with FreeSync that's paired with a factory overclocked GTX 980. I can get ~45-70fps in most games I play so I'd like to get in on that adaptive refresh hotness, but I can't afford a Vega right now. Though I might side-grade to AMD and sell the 980, but if these are going to drop in price I'll just wait.
